Author: Charles Sheehan-Miles (All RIAForge projects by this author) Description:
ActiveCharity CMS is an open-source content management system targeted to meet the needs of small nonprofit organizations. Key features to include:
* Member and donor management * Email subscriptions * Online profiles and community building * Online campaigns The project is currently in the midst of complete rewrite. PLEASE NOTE: Currently not an installable version. You can look at the code, but without the tables.... anyway, that will be ready very very soon. Some production sites running heavily customized versions are at the project homepage showcase. Open Source code from several other CFML projects are included in this application. The goal in the next couple of versions is to clean it all up, give credit where credit is due, and in particular, to modularize the application so new components can be dropped in easily. PLEASE NOTE: I've temporarily removed the downloads for this as I rework some of the code.
Requirements:
Tested on the following platforms:
* IIS 6/MS Sql Server 2000/Windows 2003 Server * Apache/OSX (Intel Mac) (At least for the time being, I'm dropping plans to make it work with mySQL). However, as I refactor this, I'm going to be abstracting all the database calls, so it should be relatively simple to port later on. Issue Tracker:
